Questions:-  (This review is from the point of view of motorhomers driving a Bessacarr 769 tag axle – 8.56m)

What are the pitches like?

Hard-standings with grass to the side (on some).  Good sized pitches.  Easy to level up.  A few separate areas so not all in long lines

Is there water on each pitch?

No,  but plenty of water taps available

What is the electric like?

Excellent, 16amp.  Absolutely no problems

Drainage?

Yes – in ‘pitch 2’.  A little awkward – our extendable drain pipes came in very useful  here

What’s the site access like?

Good access from the main road.  Clear signage at the entrance (it’s the 1st on the right, the 2nd is the golf course).

What are the Sanitary facilities like?

1 small facilities block.  The only 1 on our travels that hadn’t re-opened (although the wardens were using it), but looked rather old and tired (in need of updating) from what we could see.

Toilets:                             Small block, but couldn’t access to comment further

Toilet paper provided? See above                                                                                            Showers:                            See above comment

What other facilities are there?

Bins (outside the main entrance gate) and CWD

Dishwashing area –

Reception hut with leaflets

Onsite wardens.  Very friendly and approachable

Is there any internet; if so how much and how good?

Yes, free, limited wi-fi.

Excellent

How much is it?

We paid £20 per night including electric.  This is a year round charge, going up to £25 on all bank holidays.

What’s the area like?

Wonderful!! You’re in the heart of the Cotswolds with a 5 minute walk down the hill into Burford itself.  Bus stops on the main road.  Golf course adjacent.  Lots of possibilities
