Review for Area Castileja de Guzman (for Seville), Spain

Country: Spain

Co-ordinates: 37.411217N : 6.055059W

https://www.searchforsites.co.uk/marker.php?id=48482

Good for: A dedicated area overlooking Seville and some serious biking tracks in the hills

Address: Castilleja de Guzmán, Sevilla, Andalucía, Spain, 41908

Questions:- (This review is from the point of view of motorhomers driving a Bessacarr E769 tag axle – 8.56m)

Relevant Post:-

We stayed in March 2024

Detail:  Well laid out parking area with space for about 12 vans.  No facilities apart from bins.  Roughly 5/10 minute walk to the bus stop (catch the M174/175 and ask for Plaza de Armes – the last stop)

Popular area – there is a cycle track (think this goes around the town and then onto the next town although I’m sure you could easily cycle into Seville from here).

What’s the site access like? Easy, once you’ve negotiated the outskirts of Seville!  Make sure you keep right as you pass Carrefour on the way to Camas (we missed it and had to do it all again…).

How much is it? Free

Services?:   None, except bins

What’s the area like?:

Residential area, parking is in front of a little sports complex.

Hills ahead with a view over Seville.

On the flight path, but not an issue.

This is a viewpoint and is popular with locals walking and sitting on the many benches.

A number of cars did spend the evening with several youngsters in them playing their music loud, but they had all gone by midnight.  Unfortunately they left all their rubbish behind (which Calv picked up in the morning – we saw another guy doing the same thing)

Would we return?

Yes, but we won’t as we’ve done Seville now!
