Good for: A relaxed stopover opposite a beautiful beach. If you like surfing this place is for you 🙂
Address: Barbate, Cádiz, Andalucía, Spain, 11159
Questions:- (This review is from the point of view of motorhomers driving a Bessacarr E769 tag axle – 8.56m)
Relevant Post:-
Detail: Well thought out camper stop with 60 spaces. Toilets, showers, washing machines, all relevant services, a bar, bread, pizza, friendly staff and a good vibe with all the surfers staying 🙂
Would advise booking ahead as very popular.
Only downpoint is that spaces are a little narrow. Means you talk to your neighbours though!
What’s the site access like? Easy – it’s at the end of a short unmade up road, but no issues
How much is it? We paid 12E per night (extra 4E if you want electric)
What’s the area like?:
Decent area, better walking back the way you came than continuing along the road, but still okay (in fact walking that way there was a ‘Speciality Coffee’ cafe a few 100 metres away that looked like it had rather lovely cakes (was closing when we walked past unfortunately :()
The beach, right opposite, is stunning. There is a road down to the lighthouse where there are a couple of cafes/restaurants with a good vibe.
Also a cycle path (doubles as a walkway) that runs for miles 🙂
Would we return?
Absolutely
