Questions:-  (This review is from the point of view of motorhomers driving a Bessacarr E769 tag axle – 8.56m)

What are the pitches like?

We didn’t see many of the pitches as we (being ACSI we think) were with just 1 other van on the main drag of the site.  Once on the pitch was fine, just needed to park sort of diagonally to position ourselves properly.

Is there water on each pitch?

Yes

What is the electric like?

Very good – no issues at all

Drainage?

Yes, on the pitch itself

What’s the site access like?

Good – turn right off the main road immediately after the bend around to the right.

What are the Sanitary facilities like?

Toilets:             Good

Toilet paper provided? Yes                                                                                              Showers:                            Looked, but we used our own facilities

What other facilities are there?

Bins etc.  (with an hour in the morning and an hour in the evening that you can use them – to ensure you are putting the rubbish in the correct bins…)

Laundry

Dish washing and laundry sinks

Good shop

Children’s play area

Bar/restaurant

Football pitches; table tennis etc. – again only open at certain times

Swimming pool.  Swimming hats compulsory

Is there any internet; if so how much and how good?

I don’t remember having any problems with our signal

How welcoming are they at reception and staff in general?

The welcome was perfectly acceptable.

How much is it?

We paid 23E per night + tourist tax on ACSI

What’s the area like?

Opposite the lake, although not the best place to go in swimming plenty of people were!  Easy access to the cycle path.  Several eateries close by with a good bar just around the corner

Lidl a mile or so away, easy to get to on your bikes. We visited on our way in

Suitable for 5th Wheel Vans?

Don’t know

More detail:

The Good:-

The pool

The proximity to the lake

Good shop

What could be improved:

Rather too regimented for us

 We really didn’t like:

Very much a mecca for large school and college parties, and therefore rather noisy at certain times

Moving On:

We headed to Garda for 1 night before making our way north towards Austria

Would we return?

No – we moved on rather than staying an extra night
