Questions:-  (This review is from the point of view of motorhomers driving a Swift Kontiki 669 tag axle – 8.56m)

What are the pitches like?

Decent sized pitches, varying in shade.  Well laid out and separated by hedging. Very sandy and dusty due to the location

Is there water on each pitch?

Yes

What is the electric like?

Prob 16A – We had no problem at all

Drainage?

Yes  – proper drive over site with washing facilities

What’s the site access like?

Very good – easy access from the main road; large car park on arrival

What are the Sanitary facilities like?

Toilets:                             Good enough.  1 large block – I only used the main block once as I nearly got locked in!  There was another couple of individual cubicles behind reception                                                                                                                                                                       Toilet paper provided? Yes                                                                                                    Showers:                          Again good enough.  Calv was happy to use them.

What other facilities are there?

Swimming pool

Café/Bar – restaurant; mini-market; reception; laundry;  petanque; kid’s play area; bungalows; social area

Is there any internet; if so how much and how good?

Yes.  Free in the bar area.  3 nights for the price of 2 offer on whilst we were there

How welcoming are they at reception and staff in general?

Very welcoming and professional.  There is always somebody available to assist.

How much is it?

With the ACSI card 19E per night (see here for dates) .

What’s the area like?

10 min walk into El Rocio and the Ermitage.  Also the nature reserve that borders the village.  Amazing!

A little further afield is the beach resort of Matalascanas which looked rather lovely.

We also visited Gibraltar, Camino del Rey, Frigiliana and Nerja.
