Questions:-  (This review is from the point of view of motorhomers driving a Bessacarr 769 tag axle – 8.56m)

What are the pitches like?

Good – mix of grass and hard standing.  Good size.  The grass are fairly hard ground

The hard standings are slightly sloping – more than they first appear!

Is there water on each pitch?

No but easily accessible from tap by the toilets.

What is the electric like?

Possibly 16A, we had no issues at all

Drainage?

Yes – near reception

What’s the site access like?

Very good into the campsite, but slightly wiggly roads on approach – we had no problem though 🙂  Suggest you follow signs as our sat-nav was getting a bit confused at the end!!

What are the Sanitary facilities like?

Excellent facilities; heated, very clean; unisex. Toilet roll provided but no soap

Toilets:                              4 cubicles + urinal in a cubicle + large disabled cubicle with sink

Showers:                          2 showers + large disabled cubicle.  Plenty of space, hooks to hang clothes etc.

What other facilities are there?

Bins (including composting) and CWD

Dishwashing area (and laundry sinks)

Washing machine and drier

Various sports areas just outside of gate (volleyball, tennis, basketball)

Reception (open from 5-6pm out of season)

Swimming pool, bar and restaurant (closed out of season – from 31st October I think)

Bungalows and lodges for hire

Is there any internet; if so how much and how good?

I don’t think so, but I’m having no problem with ours.  Although a little difficult to upload photos…

Very friendly, helpful gent in reception – speaks perfect English.

How much is it?

We paid 15Euro per night including electric – using the ACSI card, + .40Euro per night local tax

What’s the area like?

The immediate area is lovely.  The site is on the edge of a small lake which has a walk around it – would be perfect for a morning run; weather wasn’t conducive to this, for me anyway, whilst we were there.
