Good for: 1st, or 2nd, stop off the ferry or train at Calais. Excellent for a visit to Reims – we had no qualms about leaving the van to visit Reims for the day.
Phone: n/a – this is a free overnight stop
Questions:- (This review is from the point of view of motorhomers driving a Bessacarr E769 tag axle – 8.56m)
Detail: Car park in the middle of a quiet housing estate on the edge of Reims. We thought there was a park at the top of a little hill, which I thought might be a swimming pool and Calv thought might be a park. It was a little cemetery. However it had a separate car park, so this isn’t the car park for the cemetery.
What’s the site access like? Good – follow the road towards the little town and turn left at the road after the cemetery sign. Follow your sat nav – right at the 1st little roundabout and follow the road round. You can’t miss it.

Lovely little town about 10-15 minutes walk away. The station is about 10 minutes walk (easy to get to). Buy your tickets at the machine – 14 Euros return for both of us to go to Reims (9 minutes away).
Friendly people 🙂
Moving on: Next stop on the route south was Chaumont (a paying stopover 8.44Euros) by the canal.
Would we return?? Yes – 100%
