Review for Free Motorhome Parking with services, Cuneo, Italy

Country: Italy

Co-ordinates: N44.386  E7.55162

https://www.searchforsites.co.uk/marker.php?id=30178

Good for: 2nd stop in Italy after crossing the Mont Cenis Pass (and for visiting Cuneo)

Address: Cuneo, Provincia di Cuneo, Piemonte, Italy, 12100

Questions:- (This review is from the point of view of motorhomers driving a Bessacarr E769 tag axle – 8.56m)

Detail: A Sosta at the end of a large car park (in it’s own space though) overlooking sports facilities.  At the end of the car-park is a leisure centre (including a large swimming pool) and a lift up to the city (free)

All services including 16A electric.  No toilet.

Should have cost 5Euros (which we would have gladly paid), but terminal was broken and no means to pay.

There appeared to be a few long-termers using the area….  They were very loud, but no issues (if anything felt even safer leaving the van for a wander into the city)

What’s the site access like? Good –

How much is it?  Should be 5Euros including services but was free to park and stay as terminal broken.

What’s the area like?:

Cuneo is lovely, full of boulevards and piazzas, shops and eateries.

We found a Vodafone shop and were able to get a SIM card for data – no need for a tax number (only if you want to set up a Vodafone Italia account – there’s no need to do this!)

There’s also a 5k route marked out 🙂 (I didn’t use it as it was hammering down in the morning 😦 )

Moving on: Next stop was further south to the coast and Celle Ligure

Would we return?? Probably 🙂
