Questions:- (This review is from the point of view of motorhomers driving a Swift Kontiki 669 tag axle – 8.56m)
What are the pitches like?
Grass. Pitch determined by where electric is. Decent size and fairly level – we didn’t need any blocks
Is there water on each pitch?
There is a tap shared between every 2 pitches
What is the electric like?
10A– we had no problems.
Drainage?
Drain in the corner by pitch no. 7
What’s the site access like?
Good access from the road. However, on approaching you can’t see the entrance until you get to it! Although there is a sign pointing you onto Brant Road, there isn’t any indicator opposite the site entrance itself.
What are the Sanitary facilities like?
Toilets: Gents and ladies – 2 cubicles in each
The toilets aren’t dirty, but weren’t cleaned whilst we were there – except when Calv took our brush down there and swept them out himself that is…
Toilet paper provided? Yes Showers: 1 large shower in the ladies and the gents. Calv said it was a brilliant shower, large and powerful
What other facilities are there?
Bins and CWD
A fishing lake, which is also pleasant to walk around
Is there any internet; if so how much and how good?
No internet on site, but very good signal if you have your own.
Don’t necessarily to see anybody immediately – just park up and wait; the lady managing the site will come to see you
How much is it?
We paid £15 per night including electric.
What’s the area like?
This is a lovely area. We visited as we have family in the area (Caythorpe/Frieston – the next 2 villages along the road). Fulbeck is very pretty, and (I know I’m biased) Caythorpe is pretty special too 🙂 The other villages along the A607 towards Lincoln are also very pretty.

More detail:
We liked:-
The area
The walk around the lake
The green building on site, which looks dilapidated – it was actually the home of a single prisoner of war in WWII!
We didn’t like so much:-
The facilities could do with being cleaned more often
The access onto the field needs to be smoothed out a bit – you need to be careful, going on 1 wheel at a time!
We hated:-
Nothing
Moving On:
We headed to the Lincolnshire coast
