Questions:-  (This review is from the point of view of motorhomers driving a Swift Kontiki 669 tag axle – 8.56m)

What are the pitches like?

Lovely pitches.  Not laid out rigidly.  This is a nice big field with hook-ups all around.

Is there water on each pitch?

No – but the tap is easily accessible, at the end of the toilet block

What is the electric like?

16A – excellent

Drainage?

No

What’s the site access like?

Good; directly off Whitstable Road.  If your SatNav tries to take you into the Stubbs Lane private estate IGNORE it!  Go back to the main road, by turning right after Londis.  The site is a couple of hundred metres along on the right.

What are the Sanitary facilities like?

Toilets:                              Good –  laides & gents. 2 toilets and 2 showers in each.    Very clean.                                                                                                                                                 Toilet paper provided? Yes, and plenty of spare available.                                                                                                                                                                                                                        Showers:                          Very good (and very clean).

What other facilities are there?

Chemical waste disposal. Rubbish bins.  Washing up facilities. Very friendly owners.

Close to a bus-stop and walking distance of the seafront.  Easy cycle along the promenade to Whistable.

No. No internet

Very welcoming and friendly.

How much is it?

We paid £15 per night

What’s the area like?

Nice.  Lovely views from the site.  There’s a Londis within about a 10 minute walk.  Nice cycling.  Lots of places to visit close by.

If you need a launderette use the 1 near ‘the castle’ in Whitstable.  We would not suggest the 1 in Herne Bay.

More detail:

The Good:-

The area, the people, the facilities

The Bad:-

Nothing

 The Ugly:-

Nothing at all 😊

Moving On:

We moved on to Kelseys in Sidcup.  If we had had more time here we would have visited Chelmsford, and definitely Tiptree.
