Good for: Visiting Teruel, both the historic town itself and the red gorges bordering the road

Address: Teruel, Teruel, Aragón, Spain, 44002

Questions:- (This review is from the point of view of motorhomers driving a Bessacarr E769 tag axle – 8.56m)

Relevant Post:- Heading South to the Sun 🙂

Detail:  Large dedicated area for motorhomes with services (water, black and grey waste)

What’s the site access like? Easy – follow the signs and/or your SatNav 🙂

How much is it? Free

What’s the area like?:

Immediate area includes a large supermarket, McDonalds and various eateries + Dinopolis (seasonal theme park)

There is a sports centre nearby and, yes, we did have the drum practice!  There was a festival due to start in the next few days and they were practicing for that 🙂

A short walk back along the main road into town takes you to the red gorges and several walks.  You can also head to the historic centre this way, or cross over and keep going from McDonalds.

The town has several interesting points but I found it to be very ‘closed-in’, eg. the cathedral was hidden amongst a maze of buildings 😦  Having said that definitely worth a look 🙂

Moving on: Next stop was to Alannia Costa Blanca 🙂

Would we return?? Yes, for an overnight in the aire as it was perfect and well thought out (shame about the large French camper emptying their macerator over the grey drain but unfortunately there’s always a chance of seeing this wherever you go..).
