Good for: Visiting Freiburg.  We were parked right by the cycle path and a few minutes walk to the nearest tram (note, you need to get off at the previous stop on the way back from town)

Address:  Suwonallee. 1, 79108, Frieburg

Questions:- (This review is from the point of view of motorhomers driving a Bessacarr E769 tag axle – 8.56m)

Relevant Post:- Heading away from the Black Forest

Detail:  Dedicated parking area on non-match day in the stadium car park, directly on the cycle path and tram line.   Includes a motorhome service point and plenty of lighting.  There is an airport across the road, but it’s not an issue.  We also found it very amusing watching a couple of lads in their cars virtually drag racing on a nearby road (not on the area itself).

CCTV as well throughout the site

What’s the site access like? Easy – off of the main road and can go left or right – we went to the right.  Go to the office to give your details and pay

How much is it? We paid 13E for 24 hours. You can pay extra for electric

What’s the area like?:

A short trip into Freiburg itself via the cycle path or the tram.  Well worth a visit (even though it was so hot that my phone refused to tell me the temperature – settling for ‘extreme heat’ instead.  Useful…!!)

Moving on: Next stop was in France at a wonderful town called Wissembourg

Would we return?? If we were in the area – yes, the area worked very well for us 🙂
