Excellent hardstanding pitches in the 5 van site. There is a separate site withing the field with plenty of grass pitches
Is there water on each pitch?
No, but easily accessible
What is the electric like?
16A– excellent
Drainage?
No – but the lady owner was happy for waste water to be thrown into the trees (‘water the trees with it’!)
What’s the site access like?
Easy entrance on the corner.
What are the Sanitary facilities like?
Toilets: 1 toilet/shower room adjacent to the owner’s bungalow. Very clean
Toilet paper provided? Yes Showers: we didn’t use it ourselves, but look very good.
What other facilities are there?
Bins and CWD
Walk
Information room with book library
Picnic table and seating area
Lots of space for children to play
An owner who considers all campers when deciding whether or not to accept a booking – lovely lady 🙂
Is there any internet; if so how much and how good?
No – we used our own and had no issues.
Very, very good.
How much is it?
We paid £15 per night including electric.
What’s the area like?
This site is midway between Denbigh and Mold. It has amazing views over the mountains. We visited Chester, Flint and nearly went to Prestatyn (but ran out of steam!)
