What’s the site access like? Not difficult, but there is a fairly tight turn at the top of the hill.
How much is it? We paid 16E – 1/3 of the price of the campsite (we preferred the pitches on the stellplatz….)
What’s the area like?:
Beside the campsite’s football pitch and right next to the river. Easy cycle around the lake – just a couple of miles along the lake to Tittisee itself.
Going by road you come to a free Lido area where there is a beach for easy access to the lake.
It was simply wonderful and we ended up staying 4 nights 🙂
Moving on: Next stop was heading further west to Emmingdingem – a small town with, importantly, a rather lovely cheap outdoor swimming pool 🙂
Would we return?? In a heartbeat!
