Druridge Bay looking towards Amble

We stumbled across Druridge Bay on our way to Berwick.  The beach of part of a large country park  where you will find a large lake, woods, walks and a café and shop (open only at weekends and during school holidays), and toilets (open daily, 9.30am-4.30pm).  There is also plenty of parking available in various areas.

A short walk from the main car park takes you through the dunes and onto the beautiful sandy beach.  If only we had visited during the summer when we could have taken proper advantage of these beaches on the east coast!
