Detail:

We stayed in April 2024

This was a decent stop when our original plan was thwarted (i.e. stopping in Lugo for the night).

The circus had taken over so we parked out of the city and walked a mile back in to explore, and then headed about 30km north to find a suitable park up.

And it was a very nice area to park up in as well – so thank you Meira 🙂

Dedicated space (although we did have a dad park over 2 spaces to take his kids to play Padel (the court is right by the area), instead of the huge parking area opposite.  Well I suppose he would have had to have walked for another 20 seconds!

Maybe the aire should be in the large parking area?

Just 3 of us there, all British unusually.

A nice park behind the old people’s home and lots of opportunity for a walk/run 🙂

What’s the site access like? Very easy, and also signposted as you get closer

How much is it? Free

Services?:   1 motorhome service point – clean and tidy.  Bins

Lots of locals walking and using the Padel court 🙂

What’s the area like?:

Very open.  Very up together.  Lots of farming equipment using the track opposite.

The aire itself is ‘at the end of the road’

Would we return?

Yes – definitely
