Detail:
We stayed in April 2024
We had intended to stop at Muxia, and perhaps visit the village and have a bit of a walk. But it was a tad windy – as in could barely keep our feet windy! So we moved on, and stopped far too early 😦 We should have moved on after some lunch really.
This is a dedicated area in front of a sports ground. It is up a short steep slope, but once in it’s flat and tidy.
There is a castle across the road and we managed a walk around in the wind, but nothing was open and we did regret stopping – but that’s life; we live and learn (or not as the case may be)
What’s the site access like? Fairly easy, just the short steep hill to negotiate
How much is it? Free
Services?: 1 motorhome service point – clean and tidy. Bins
What’s the area like?:
The immediate area is perfectly okay. Just very little going on sadly.
Would we return?
No, but simply because there was so little to do. The area was perfectly adequate for an overnight stop.
