We stayed in April 2024
Just off of the N10 south of Chartres.
Parking in a large car park by the river, and alongside a large petanque area (there was a tournament underway when we were there)
What’s the site access like? Easy, follow the signs once you’re in the town
Services?: Full services – all free
Nice walk around the town (and the church was open – very little else though on a Sunday), lots of history and many information boards.
What’s the area like?:
Part of a large car park.
Very popular – would advise getting there fairly early as the season gets going
Pedalos for hire on the river (just not on a Sunday..)
