Detail:

We stayed in April 2024

This was one of those overnight stops than turned out to be a bit of a delight 🙂

Just a few minutes walk takes you to the fences of the wildlife park, and the elephant enclosure 🙂

During the day you will hear a weird noise, it’s just the cable car launching off close by and will stop when the park closes.

There are several bars/restaurants in front of the entrance to the park – again, a 5 minute walk.

What’s the site access like? Very easy, just a slightly narrow lane leading down to the park up

Services?:   None except bins

What’s the area like?:

Large parking area with room for numerous vans (I think there were about 25-30 of us there when we stayed)

In front of a lake.  Cars do drive through as there is a small local road going up into the mountains and past the wildlife park fence.

Would we return?

Absolutely – in a heartbeat 🙂
