Questions:-  (This review is from the point of view of motorhomers driving a Swift Kontiki 669 tag axle – 8.56m)

What are the pitches like?

All grass.  Perfectly decent size.

Is there water on each pitch?

No – just 1 tap at the end of the field.  No problems but you do need a decent length of hose

What is the electric like?

16A– we had no problems

Drainage?

By the tap

What’s the site access like?

After leaving the A16 you do encounter several fairly narrow lanes to negotiate – it’s probably best to follow your satnav..  Site access off the lane is good – once in turn right to access the camping field – the road goes down to the cottages and farmhouse

What are the Sanitary facilities like?

Toilets:                              1 toilet, fully enclosed.  Cleaned daily.

Toilet paper provided? Yes – plentiful

Showers:                          No shower on this site

What other facilities are there?

Bins and CWD

Information leaflets (in the toilet building)

There is also a washing machine in this area that can be used for a small donation (providing it’s not being used for the cottages).

A green area for games – mainly for the cottages.

We paid £13 per night including electric

.What’s the area like?

Very quiet.  But being country lanes some of the locals do tend to drive a little fast.  But there is very little traffic.  We walked along the canal and around the reservoir.

Louth is a nice little town not too far away and you have several beaches in easy reach

We liked:-

The area

The facilities

The peace and quiet

We didn’t like so much:-

Nothing

We hated:-

Nothing

Moving On:

We moved on to the Flamborough Head in Yorkshire
