Good for: Visiting Freiburg, (although we moved on to Frieburg itself to visit).

Address:  Emmendingen, Freiburg, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, 79312

Questions:- (This review is from the point of view of motorhomers driving a Bessacarr E769 tag axle – 8.56m)

Relevant Post:- Heading away from the Black Forest

Detail:  Dedicated area at the back of a Sports centre car park, directly opposite a wonderful outdoor pool (3.50E each) which was very welcome in the extreme heat that we were experiencing when we visited.   Includes a paid motorhome service point, although it was broken and we were able to empty for free.

What’s the site access like? Easy – off of the main road and across a bridge.  Go into the car park opposite the swimming pool and head for the area at the back.

How much is it? We paid 10E for 24 hours

What’s the area like?:

Great fun on a very hot Sunday watching all the cars blocking each other in when visiting the swimming pool!  We waited until just over an hour before closing time as we’d watched people pouring out – it was still really busy but extremely welcome (and it’s a lovely pool 🙂 )

A few full timers using the area (including an old guy in a converted fire engine), but apparently there are checks on whether or not people have paid (which is always good!)

Moving on: Next stop was just a few miles down the road to Freiburg – a city that is well worth a visit (although it was rather too hot on the day we were there)

On the way we found a BMW dealership where we were able to buy our emissions sticker – even with my limited German and their, even more limited, English!

Would we return?? If we were in the area – for the pool more than anything else
