Detail:
We stayed in April 2024
Just off of the N10(D910) south of Tours.
Generous individual pitches overlooking a fishing lake
None of the 8 pitches are level so you will need chocks.
There is a charge of electricity of 5E + 4E for water and electric. We didn’t use either
What’s the site access like? Easy, follow the side road off of the D910. The pay machine is easy to use and gives you a code.
As soon as payment is made the barrier will go up. The code is for if you have paid for water/electric and also for if you want to go out and return – so don’t lose it!!
Services?: Full services – electric & water are payable (4E) Parking 5E
Nice walk around the lake, but not much close by. Although there is a big castle in the next town along, Les Ormes.
What’s the area like?:
8 pitches.
The surface would be fine in dry weather, but it’s a little mucky when it’s wet (being somewhat sandy).
Lots of fisherman around the lake in the morning
Would we return?
Probably not, but just because it’s too far from the town, coupled with the mucky surface and unlevel pitches we’d look elsewhere.
