Questions:-  (This review is from the point of view of motorhomers driving a Swift Kontiki 669 tag axle – 8.56m)

What are the pitches like?

Grass.  Pitch determined by where electric is.  Fairly size but blocks will definitely be needed.  Bit of a slope at the entry – we had to unhook the car to drive off as there had been rain the day before.

Is there water on each pitch?

Each tap is shared between 2 pitches

What is the electric like?

10A– we had no problems.

Drainage?

Drain beside the toilet block

What’s the site access like?

Access is okay from the road.   But the approach is along a typical, very narrow, windy Cornish road with high hedges.  Take care!

What are the Sanitary facilities like?

Toilets:                              1 toilet.  Cleaned a couple of times a week, but the means are available to clean it ourselves (including a mop).  Unfortunately there wasn’t any spare toilet roll left and this ran out.  However, for the price charged we can’t complain about this and just took our own in.

Toilet paper provided? Yes – not always filled up when needed                                                  Showers:                          No showers

What other facilities are there?

Bins and CWD

We paid £13 per night including electric.  That’s right – in August – we paid £13 per night!

What’s the area like?

Well it’s Cornwall!  It’s a 30 minute walk over the fields to Polzeath.  There is Roserrow Golf Course also right opposite the site.

Can I suggest you look at my post on Cornwall for more photos and a little more details on the area?! Click here 🙂

The views everywhere are just stunning.

We didn’t like so much:-

The toilets weren’t really cleaned often enough

We hated:-

Nothing

Moving On:

We headed ‘home’ via 1 night near Dorchester
