Country: Italy

Co-ordinates: N 43.3856 E11.2284

https://www.searchforsites.co.uk/marker.php?id=35663

Good for: Visiting Monteriggioni; walking a section of the Via Francigena

Address: Monteriggioni, Provincia di Siena, Toscana, Italy, 53035

Questions:- (This review is from the point of view of motorhomers driving a Bessacarr E769 tag axle – 8.56m)

Detail: A Sosta solely for motorhomes situated below a lovely tiny walled town

CDW & grey water drain.  Water.  Rubbish bins. Electric.  Lovely site with beautiful views of the Tuscan countryside

Toilets and showers

Felt very safe 🙂  Perfect to sit out and take in the views.

What’s the site access like? Very good. It’s signposted as camping, rather than a sosta/aire

How much is it? We paid 16 Euros per night (in May)

What’s the area like?:

It is on a busy road which isn’t suitable to walk along (we made the mistake of trying…)

The only real option for a meal/drink is to walk up to the walled town – which is lovely 🙂

Moving on: Next stop was a short hop to Siena:)

Would we return?? Absolutely 🙂
