Address: Via Albere, Verona, 37138

Questions:- (This review is from the point of view of motorhomers driving a Bessacarr E769 tag axle – 8.56m)

Relevant Post:- Romantic Verona

Detail: Dedicated motorhome parking area within walking distance of the lovely city of Verona

All general services (water, black and grey emptying)  The advertised toilets and showers (in an adjacent hostel) are not currently available

It looks like this used to be part of the road which has now been blocked off.  Lots of people walking through, as although there is a barrier there is nothing to stop anybody wandering through.  Some dodgy characters – make sure everything is lock up properly..

Easy walk into town with many things to see (including, of course, Juliet’s balcony..)

What’s the site access like? Fairly easy, although we had roadworks to contend with and had to divert slightly on the way in.

How much is it? 10Euros per night

What’s the area like?:

Verona is lovely.  We walked around and managed to see the majority of the main sights.

The immediate area also holds some interest – the old city gate is quite something to behold.  Other than that it’s a residential area with a hostel next to the parking area on a side street

Moving on: Next stop was a short hop to Lake Garda

Would we return?? Probably not – although it was handy if you want to visit Verona
